摘要
本文以语言学理论为依据，以海事英语为例，总结了专门用途英语的三种主要教学法，进而从社会语言学和语用学角度阐述了专门用途英语研究的基本方法和思路，并指出了基于语料库的专门用途英语研究的重要性。
Taking Maritime English as an example, this paper illustrates the main ESP teaching methods and research approaches from the perspectives of social linguistics and pragmatics. It also elaborates on the significance of corpusbased ESP research.
