Stress urinary incontinence is one of the most common diseases in urology. The main treatments for stress urinary incontinence are pharmacotherapy, physicobehavioral therapy and surgery.However, the results of present methods are not satisfactory. Tissue engineering is a newly emerging technology that may provide a novel method for the treatment of stress urinary incontinence.
