Synthesis and antibacterial activity of the Schiff base derived from PMBP and sulfanilamide and its transitional metallic copper complex

摘要 In this paper,one novel Schiff base(HL) derived from 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-pyrazolone-5(PMBP) and sulfanilamide and its corresponding transitional metallic copper complex have been synthesized in the nonaqueous solvent.The formula of complex is CuL2 based on elemental analysis,complexometric titration,molar conductance value and mass spectra data.Its molecular structure is characterized by means of IR,TG and 1HNMR,etc.,and the antibacterial activities under different concentrations of these two compounds are also measured with Oxford cup method.
