本文简要地讨论了赤平投影在构造地质学中应用的发展情况,并强调在构造分析中使用等角投影更为适宜,因为它的赤平投影图上的小圆是一个真正的圆,并且它的等密图可用普罗宁网进行编制.
The application of stereographic projection in structural geology is briefly discussed. It is emphasized that equal-angle projection is more suitable for structural analysis than equal-area projection becacise the small-circle on stereogram of cqual-angle-projection is a real circle, and its contoured stereogram can be constructed by using poronin net.
