Preparation of AZ91D Magnesium Alloy with High Quality by Melting-casting Crude Magnesium

摘要 采用无芯工频感应炉熔化、合金化和精炼,再经电阻炉保温、静置净化的工艺,由粗镁直接熔制了符合ASTM标准的镁合金。讨论了熔炼过程的防燃、除杂净化和温度控制等对镁合金品质的影响,优化了粗镁直接熔制AZ91D镁合金工艺。试验结果表明,采用该工艺熔制镁合金,具有生产过程易控制、流程短、金属元素损耗少、能耗低、环境污染小、生产效率高、产品品质高、成本低等特点。 AZ91D magnesium alloy met the ASTM standard was directly prepared from the crude magnesium by melting, alloying and refining the magnesium in line-frequency coreless induction furnace and then holding purification in electric resistant furnace. The effects of ignition proof during melting process, impurities removal and purification as well as temperature control on quality of magnesium alloy were described to optimize smelting-casting parameters of AZ91D alloy directly prepared from crude magnesium. The experimental results verify that the method of directly smelting-casting magnesium alloy from crude magnesium have some advantages, such as easy parameters controlling, short technological process, low loss of metal elements, low energy consumption and environmental pollution, high production efficiency and high product quality as well as low cost.
