摘要
用文献计量学方法分析1987～1996年医学信息研究动态的变化。结果显示，医学信息学的应用研究、计算机方法和教育是当前医学信息学研究的主要内容；医学信息学的研究设备不断更新，高新技术手段和方法已对医学信息学研究产生重要影响。目前资料表明，美国、英国和德国是当前发表有关医学信息学研究文献最多的国家，我国医学信息学研究与国外相比尚存在相当差距。因而提示，我国医学信息学研究的投入要结合我国医学发展特点和信息基础设施的实际情况，注意参考国际医学信息学研究的走向。
The develpments in medical informatics from 1987 to 1996 were analysed by bibliometrics. The results showed that application, computing and education were the principal research contents of medical in formatics. The renewal of scientific research equipment and new technique had a great effect on medical in formatics. In the realm of medical informatics, the United States, England and Germany have cornparatively more numbers of pubilished literature than other countries in the world at present. Compared with advanced countries, we still have a long way to go. These results suggest that our research investment must be combined with specific conditions in China with respect to recent developments in global medical in formatics.
