This article has introduced the main content of health,safety and environmental management system standards in petroleum industry, It briefly introduces the importance in implementing this standard in two aspects: international competition and to domestic serf-management, It points out that formulating and executing the health,safety and environmental management system standards is a general trend in theworld and the need for the petroleum industry itself.
