摘要
光学CCD或者CMOS捕获的原始图像数据量过于庞大,若需将其用网络进行传输必然会占用较大的带宽,因此必须对其进行压缩。基于TI公司的多媒体DSP芯片DM642设计了图像的实时捕获系统,对捕获的图像采用AVS的帧内预测算法进行了压缩。通过对系统和算法的测试分析表明,系统对输入的模拟视频图像能达到较高的压缩比,压缩一幅图像的时间可达到16ms,满足了实时的要求。
The data of the image captured by optical CCD or CMOS is too large. As it will occupy large bandwidth, it must be compressed if transferred by internet. In this paper, we have designed a real time image capture system based on TI's multi-media DSP chip DM642 and applied AVS^s intra prediction algorithm on the capture image. The experimenta! results show that the system uses about 16ms to compress a video image and can reach a high ratio compression. As a result, the system is capable of real time video image processing.
