摘要
阐述了ESL(EFL)的基本内涵和重要意义,提出该体系的实施是中外合作办学项目成功运作的重要保障。在具体的教学管理实践中,ESL(EFL)的特殊性体现在分级考试与分级教学、课程设置与教材遴选、考核标准与重修方式、外教选聘与质量监控等方面。探讨了ESL(EFL)和专业课程教学的成功整合和良好互动对提升教学质量和教学效果的重要作用。
First of all, it is pointed out that China and foreign countries＇ joint higher education program is a significant type of internationalization of higher education. And then the basic connotation and importance of ESL （EFL） are expatiated, which is the crucial guarantee of successful operation of the joint program. In practice of academic management, ESL （EFL） ＇ s characteristics are graded exam and instruction, course arrangement and textbook selection, assessing criteria and repeating solutions, foreign instructors＇ recruiting and quality controlling, etc. Finally significance of improving teaching quality and effect based on successful conformity and good interaction between ESL （EFL） and major courses are analyzed.
