摘要
可变报文格式(VMF)是美国国防部用于美军战术互联网支持下的数据通信格式,是一种适用于战场带宽环境受限的消息格式标准。基于VMF的报文在无线链路中可以准确、近实时地传输指挥代码信息。此外火力支援在现代战争中的作用日益突出,态势信息传递也尤为重要,针对可变报文格式的特点、原理、处理过程,对VMF在近距空中支援中的应用情况进行研究。
Variable message format is the digital communication format designed by DOD of American and used in global tactical internet. VMF is one of the information format standards which is applied to bandwidth limited environment of battlefield. The messages based on VMF can transmit correctly the near real-time information of command codes. The effect of fire support in the war is evident, especially the transmission of situational information is important. This article analyses the trait,principle,process, and take the application of VMF technology in close air support（CAS） into research.
