摘要
模糊性是所有自然语言的一个重要特性。模糊限制语也是自然语言模糊性的一个重要组成部分,在语言使用中出现的频率很高,尤其是在新闻报道中的使用频率很高。从模糊理论和新闻大众传播的角度来看模糊限制语在新闻报道中的作用,对模糊限制语正确理解有助于对英语报刊文章所蕴涵的丰富内容的理解。
Fuzziness is an important characteristic of all natural languages. Hedges are also an important part of fuzziness inherent in natural languages. They frequently occur in language use, especially in news reporting. Therefore, this paper primarily probes into the role of fuzzy hedges in news reporting from the standpoint of fuzzy theory and journalistic mass communication,which can help readers get a deeper understanding of articles from foreign news publications.
