从1,3-二甲基-2-(2-苯乙基)苯并咪唑盐合成香料3-苯丙醛

A novel method for synthesis of 3-benzenepropanal from 1,3-dimethyl-2-(2-phenylethyl)-benzimidazolium salt

摘要 以邻苯二胺和3-苯丙酸为原料,经1,3-二甲基-2-(2-苯乙基)苯并咪唑碘盐的钠/乙醇还原-水解反应,合成了标题化合物。同时,研究了3-苯丙醛合成的最佳反应条件,并对其反应机理进行了讨论。提出了一种香料醛的新合成方法。 3-Benzenepropanal as an important perfume was successfully synthesized by the reduction-hydrolysis reaction of 1,3-dimethyl-2-(2-phenylethyl)-benzimidazolium iodide with sodium/ethanol,wherein 1,3-dimethyl-2-(2-phenylethyl)-benzimidazolium iodide can be obtained from o-diaminobenzene and 3-benzenepropanoic acid.The reaction conditions for synthesis of 3-benzenepropanal were studied and its mechanism was discussed.A novel convenient method for preparing perfume aldehydes from carboxylic acids has been thereby provided.
