摘要
针对校园网络的主要应用之一──多媒体教学，从设立多媒体服务器的角度出发，介绍了iXMICRO公司的一种实用技术平台。通过对多媒体信息传输内容和具体的软硬件分析，提出了视频“流”机制的传输方案，进而介绍了基于“流”技术的多媒体服务器组成及其教学应用。
For the main application of campus network - multimedia teaching, the thesis introduces a plattorm of a utility technology of iXMICRO company from the angle of establishing the multimedia server. It presents a transportation scheme of the stream of video through analysing the transported multimedia informa tion and particular hardware and software, and introduces the multimedia server based on stream technolo gy and its application in teaching.
