摘要
蔡元培的德育思想不仅包括"立于现象世界"的公民道德教育,而且也包括"有事于实体世界"的世界观和美感教育的部分内容。前者主要说明了德育的适应性功能,而后者则突出了德育的超越性品质。因此,蔡元培的德育目的既包括现象世界的德育目的,也包括实体世界的德育目的。在德育内容方面,既包括指向现实生活的德育内容,也包括指向精神生活的德育内容。
Cai Yuanpei's thoughts on moral education fall into two parts: one is about civic and moral education concerning 'the phenomenal world',the other about formation of world outlook and aesthetic education concerning 'the material world'.The former illustrates the adapting function of moral education,while the latter highlights its transcending characteristics.In Cai's opinion,moral education is aimed at the well-being not only of 'the phenomenal world',but also 'the material world'.Similarly,content in moral education should concern both 'the real life' and 'the spiritual life'.
