摘要
本研究将减毒鸡沙门氏菌97A、97B分别经口服、皮下注射或滴鼻接种1日龄SPF鸡和伊莎鸡,结果表明,97A株对1日龄雏鸡有良好的安全性,而97B株仍有部分毒力。实验室免疫效力试验显示,97A能提供较强的免疫保护作用,表明97A是一株较理想的疫苗候选株。
To evaluate the safety and efficacy of two attenuated live Salmonella gallinarum strains 97A,97B as vaccine candidates to protect chickens against salmonellosis caused by virulent S.gallinarum,SPF and Salmonella free chickens were inoculated through orally,intranasally or subcutaneously at 1day of age with these two strains and were challenged 21 days later by oral inoculation of ca.10 9 colony forming units of virulent S.gallinarum.97A given orally,intranasally or SC to chickens was safe,in contrast,97B still had slightly virulent.Both of 97A and 97B significantly reduced in mortality after challenge.It suggested that 97A has potential as an effective vaccine to aid in the prevention of fowl typhoid and the related disease in chickens.
