摘要
分析“知识经济”的含义和显著特征；论述以知识为基础的经济和以知识为基础的教育（特别是高等工程教育）之间的关系；最后就深化高等工程教育改革以迎接知识经济的到来提出了四个方面的对策意见．
In this aticle the author analzes what knowledge economy is and its outstanding characteristics, describes the relationship between the economy and the education (higher engineering education in particular) both based on knowledge, provides four countermeasure suggestions about how to deepen higher engineering educational reform so as to meet the need of knowledge economy.
