Now US wideband global satcom（WGS） is the best advanced military communications satellite in America.Based on a lot of data,the basic condition,system composition and functions,purpose and application methods of WGS are mainly introduced.And its key technology and technical characteristics are analyzed.It is useful to the study and design of future military communications satellites.
