摘要
"五四"新文化运动是一场启蒙运动,对中国文化的发展产生了极其深远的影响。对"五四"新文化运动的研究,成果很多且研究很深入。但是,文化的一个重要方面,即语言文化,却鲜有人从历史的角度论及。事实上语言文化上的革新,对文化的传播有不可估量的影响,其本身也是"五四"新文化运动的重要内容。"白话文运动"以及"注音字母运动"是"五四"新文化运动中对推动中国语言文化发展所作出的重大努力。正是这两个方面的发展,使汉语走上了"言文一致"的道路,使我国注音字母逐步走向规范化、系统化,为"五四"新文化运动扩大了影响,壮大了声势,并造就了我国教育与文化的新气象。
＂May 4th＂ New Culture Movement is a movement of enlightenment, which has an extremely far-reaching impact on the development of Chinese culture. It not only inherits and develops the Chinese culture and traditioas, but also spreads the Western cultural ideas and achievements of progress. There are a lot of outcome of the ＂May 4th＂ New Culture Movement Research, many of which are deep. However, one of the most important aspect of culture-the language and culture, has rarely been discussed from a historic perspective. In fact, the language and culture on the innovation has an immeasurable impact on the spread of culture, and it is an important aspect of the ＂May 4th＂ New Culture Movement of their own. In this paper, the author wants to talk about ＂May 4th＂ New Culture Movement on the promotion of Chinese language and culture developed by ＂Vernacular Movement＂ and ＂phonetic alphabet campaign＂ in these two aspects. Just because of the development of these two aspects, the Chinese language achieved a unity of the written and spoken language making the China＇s phonetic alphabet gradually standardized and systematic. And it expended influence of the ＂May 4th＂ New Culture Movement and created a new atmosphere on education and culture in China.
