摘要
目的研究在野战战术C3I系统中利用虚拟现实技术和三维图形显示技术仿真战场地形环境.方法介绍了多种地形建模的方法,涉及到由等高线生成三维模型、数字图像处理技术、分形学、细节度表示以及地理信息系统等.并对这些方法进行了比较、分析和改进.结果与结论利用这些方法,比较好地解决了各种情况下野战虚拟环境中地形数据的集成问题.为野战虚拟环境系统的设计提供了依据.
Aim To study the use of virtual reality technologies and 3D graphic methods in military C 3I systems for the simulation of terrain in battlefields Methods Some methods used in a prototype system for terrain modeling are introduced,compared,and analyzed,including contour line transformation,digital image processing,fractal method,level of details,and GIS Improvement for these methods are discussed Results and Conclusion The integration of terrain data into military virtual environment is well accomplished in the prototype system by using the discussed methods in combination This gives guidelines for the design of such systems
