摘要
合成了新型咪唑基离子液体氯化1-十四烷基-3-羧甲基咪唑([C14cim]Cl),用其改性氢氧化镁(MH),得到改性MH(MH-ICl)。通过比较MH和MH-ICl对邻苯二甲酸二辛酯(DOP)的吸油值及它们在二甲苯中的分散性,评价了[C14cim]Cl对MH的改性效果,并与硬脂酸(SA)的改性效果进行了对比;考察了MH-ICl对高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)的阻燃和力学性能的影响。实验结果表明,MH-ICl对DOP的吸油值明显下降,且在二甲苯中的分散性较MH明显提高;分散在HDPE基体中的MH-ICl与HDPE基体间具有较强的相互作用,可改善HDPE的阻燃和力学性能;[C14cim]Cl对MH的改性效果明显优于SA。FTIR表征结果显示,[C14cim]Cl与MH之间可能同时存在非价键力和价键力的作用。
1 -N-tetradecyl-3-carboxymethyl imidazole chloride ( [ C14 cim ] Cl), a novel imidazolium ionic liquid, was synthesized and used as modifier of magnesium hydroxide (MH). The obtained product MH[ C14cim]Cl( MH-ICl) could heighten flame retardancy and mechanical properties of high-density polyethylene (HDPE). Stearic acid (SA) was also added to modify properties of MH to get MH-SA( MH-Is ) for comparing with the synthesized [ C14 cim ] Cl. The modification effects were evaluated through both dioctyl phthalate absorption values of MH, MH-ICl and MH-Is and their dispersion properties in xylene. Furthermore, the effects of MH, MH-Is and MH-ICl on flame retardancy and mechanical properties of HDPE were investigated separately. The results showed that the dispersion of MH-IICl in xylene was higher than that of MH, so the interaction between MH-ICl and HDPE was enhanced which could improve the flame retardancy and mechanical properties of HDPE. [ C14cim]Cl was a better modifier for MH than SA since there might be both chemical bonding and non-chemical bonding between [C14cim] Cl and MH, which was confirmed by means of FTIR.
