2009年12月18日，“关注气候变化，建设低碳城市——中联重科新能源汽车新环保装备发布会”在中联科技园举行。湖南省有关部门领导为我国首款锂电池动力扫路车ZLJ5071TSL揭幕，同时还发布了中联重科新研制的18款新能源、清洁能源、新型市政环卫车辆设备，以及最新研发的污泥资源化处置技术和餐厨垃圾处置技术。
Dec. 18, 2009, Zoomlion officially announced that the company had already developed 18 new models and new energy city sanitary vehicles either by lithium battery power or CNG engine. These new fuels vehicles have been purchased by authorities of Beijing and Inn Mongolia, which consequently is in response to the request of building a 'low-carbon city'.
