摘要
为研究聚二甲基二烯丙基氯化铵(PDMDAAC)产物中残余单体二甲基二烯丙基氯化铵(DMDAAC)对聚合物的平均相对分子质量和产物性质的影响规律,该文研究了单体转化率对产物平均相对分子质量(以特征黏度[η]计)的影响。采用特征黏度分别为1.27、1.94和3.12 dL/g,并经清洗去除残余单体的PDMDAAC产物,通过外加单体,以模拟具3个系列特征黏度的单体转化率不同的PDMDAAC,考察单体加入量对加入后产物特征黏度的影响。用实际PDMDAAC产物清洗除残前后的特征黏度来验证模拟结果的正确性。单体DMDAAC、清洗前后的产物和洗脱物质分别采用傅里叶变换红外光谱(FTIR)和核磁共振(NMR)谱图进行结构表征。结果表明:当残余单体的质量分数低于50.00%时,其对模拟产物特征黏度[η′]的影响可用式lg[η′]=lg[η]+lgX′表示,相对误差为±6.30%。FTIR和NMR谱图表征结果表明清洗过程去除的主要为未反应单体。验证实验结果说明:当产物中含有较多残余单体时,经清洗后再测定的特征黏度与实际值有较大差距,不能真实表达其合成工艺及产物平均相对分子质量的真实水平,而通过工艺改进提高单体转化率是提高产物平均相对分子质量的有效途径。
To research the law of residual monomer dimethyldiallylammonium chloride(DMDAAC) in poly-dimethyldiallylammonium chloride(PDMDAAC) products influencing the average molecular weight and product characteristics of the polymer,the effect of monomer conversion on the average molecular weight(valued as intrinsic viscosity [η]) is studied here.By adding the monomer to the eluted PDMDAAC products without residual monomer with intrinsic viscosity such as 1.27,1.94 and 3.12 dL/g,three series of simulated PDMDAAC products with different monomer conversion can be obtained,in order to investigate the regularity of the monomer addition amount influencing the intrinsic viscosity of simulated products.The regularity is verified by the intrinsic viscosity values of practical products before and after elution.The structure of the monomer DMDAAC,homopolymer products before and after elution and eluate are characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscop(FTIR) and nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) respectively.The results show the regularity of the weight percent of residual monomer influencing the intrinsic viscosityof simulated products can be represented as the equation lg=lg[η]+lgX′,when the weight percent of residual monomer is less than 50.00%,the relative errors is within ±6.30%.The FTIR and NMR spectra indicates that the main remover of elution is a unreacted residual monomer.The experimental results show that there should be much numerical difference of intrinsic viscosity values for the practical products before and after their elution,especially when the residual monomer amount is high.The intrinsic viscosity values of the eluted products can't represent the process technical lever of preparing PDMDAAC and the average molecular weight of products.The most effective way to promote the average molecular weight of the product is to increase the monomer conversion of products.
