摘要
介绍了MIDI音乐合成算法,给出了FM合成器关键模块的FPGA实现方法。该合成器以Quartus II为开发工具,采用VHDL、原理图和LPM三种方式,在Altera公司Cyclone系列FPGA芯片EP1C6Q240C8上实现了32复音的FM全数字音乐合成器ASIC。该电路既可应用于MIDI演奏、伴奏系统,又可作为和弦铃声的核心IC使用。
MIDI music synthesis algorithm and FPGA implementation of key modules in FM synthesizer were presented.With Quartus II as development tool,a 32-polyphony FM digital music synthesizer ASIC was realized based on Altera's Cyclone series FPGA EP1C6Q240C8,using VHDL,schematic diagram and LPM.The ASIC can find applications in MIDI performance and accompaniment system,or serve as core IC of polyphonic ring tones.
