摘要
根据Ｍ带小波变换理论，结合地震数据的特征，将Ｍ带小波变换应用于地震数据的压缩处理，提出了地震数据的压缩编码算法。实验结果表明，该方法简单。
Wavelet transform is a new and efficient tool for signal processing. How to use wavelet transform to compress data is very interesting. Based on the M band wavelet transform theory, this paper proposes a new scheme for seismic data compression using the M band wavelet transform and the properties of seismic data. The given experiment results show that the algorithm is simple, reliable and very useful for seismic data compression.
