医院是个特殊的社会性服务机构,随着社会经济和现代医学的发展,人们对于就医服务需求的广度和深度都有了很大变化,对于被尊重和情感关怀的需求更为关切.医疗机构中的志愿服务以＂患者为中心＂,围绕医疗过程开展,为患者提供人文关怀,弥补了现有医疗服务对人文关怀功能的缺失,是促进现代医学技术与社会人文精神紧密结合的良好媒介与助推器,对于改善医疗服务、促进医患和谐具有重要推动作用.
Hospital is a special social service agency. With the development of economic and modern medicine, great changes have taken place in the breadth and depth of people＇s demands in medical service. People are paying more attention to be given respect and emotional care. Volunteer service in health care facilities takes actions around medical procedure and provides human care service by focusing on patients which make up for the absence of humanistic function in modern medical service. Therefore volunteer service is the medium and catalyzer to bond the modern medical techniques and humanistic spirit of society closely, and it＇s helpful to improve the medical service and enhance the harmony between doctors and patients.
