摘要 TCPVegas在慢启动阶段保守的拥塞控制策略和以指数方式增长的拥塞窗口使其容易在拥塞窗口不够大时过早地结束慢启动过程。针对此问题,提出一种基于比例因子的TCPVegas慢启动策略。该策略延长了慢启动时间,使得TCPVegas在转入拥塞避免阶段时拥塞窗口相对比较大,提高了占领带宽的能力。实验表明,新策略能明显提高网络吞吐量,利于网络资源的利用。 Due to Vegas' conservative congestion control strategy and its exponentially growing congestion window in slowstart phase, TCP Vegas stop slow-start too early when the congestion window was too small. On this issue, the paper put forward a slow start strategy based on the factor of proportional factor. It extended the slow start time, made the congestion window larger when it turned to congestion avoidance. Experiments show that this new strategy can improve the output of network obviously and make the network resources more useful.
