企业规模、市场能力与FDI地区聚集——来自企业层面的证据被引量：28

摘要外资企业的规模异质性决定了对外投资的市场能力差异,例如市场竞争能力、风险承受能力,以及与东道国政府的谈判博弈能力等,不同规模的外资企业对待聚集定位的倾向由此发生分化,从而形成FDI地区聚集的规模效应。本文以江苏省IT产业中的台资企业样本对该效应进行计量分析,结论表明,中小企业由于自身实力上的局限,对外投资的空间聚集特征更为明显,大型跨国公司往往是FDI聚集的始作俑者,而不是单纯的聚集跟随者,对外投资的聚集倾向相对较弱,甚至有可能做出避开竞争者聚集区的定位决策。大企业聚集对潜在投资者的吸引力在早期表现得更为突出,而中小企业聚集的吸引力只在产业配套能力形成以后才开始发挥作用。
