Recent Research on Programmed Cell Death in Bacteria

摘要 与多细胞动物一样,细菌等单细胞生物中也存在程序化细胞死亡(PCD)现象,它不仅在细菌的多种生理过程中起重要作用,还能清除发生不可逆损伤的细菌。菌落中单个菌体的程序化死亡是为了同一群落中其它细菌的利益,从而实现整个菌落的发展、繁殖。干扰或破坏这种程序化死亡可能成为抗菌药物研发的新方向。 Similar to multicellular animals,single-cell organisms,such as bacteria show the phenomenon of programmed cell death(PCD).The PCD not only can play an important role in various physiological procedures,but also can eliminate bacteria with irreversible injuries. The PCD of single cell in a colony is for the benefits of other bacteria in the same colony to achieve the development and reproduction of the whole colony.Disturbing or destroying such PCD may provide a new way for antibiotic drug research and development.
