几种典型边缘检测算子的评估 被引量:24

Evaluation of several typical edge detection operator

摘要 图像信息量巨大,而边缘信息是图像的一种紧描述。边缘是图像最基本的特征,是用于识别图像的重要信息。图像边缘检测大幅度地减少了数据量,并且剔除了可以认为不相关的信息,保留了图像重要的结构属性。有效的图像检测方法对图像进行处理具有特别重要的意义。该文通过对数字图像处理的几种典型边缘算子(Robert,Prewitt,So-bel,LOG,Canny)进行评估,并用Matlab工具进行图像轮廓提取,分析与讨论了各种算子的应用效果,得出各算子的优缺点,为新方法的研究提供衡量尺度和改进依据。 Image is enormous amount of information, the edge information is a compact description of the image. Edge is the most basic features of the image and useful information for identifying image. Edge detection greatly reduces the amount of data, and exclude irrelevant information and retain the Important structural properties of image. Effective graphic detection had particular importance to image processing. This paper carried out evaluation through several typical edge operator(Robert, Prewitt,Sobel,LOG,Canny) to digital image and extracted contour with Maflab tools, and analyzed the effect of various operators .We reach advantages and disadvantages of each operator. It provide measurement and improvement for examination of the new method.
