China Pavilion,Architecture and the National Identity

摘要 2010世博会中国馆建筑是国家形象的展现,这样的象征设计有其历史渊源。论文通过对"中国建筑"特征认知及形式"建构"之历史过程的回溯,反映中西文化交流、碰撞在(民族)国家身份认同中的影响作用,以揭示建筑的民族独特性既是在文化差异中被识别的,也是在融入时代发展之进程中被诠释的,以此构筑阅读2010中国馆建筑设计的观念和形式框架。 China Pavilion in the 2010 World Expo represents in terms of architecture an image of the country.Such kind of symbolic design has its root.By reviewing the historical process of the definition of its character as ＇Chinese architecture＇,the essay is trying to present that the forming of the national identity in architecture began from the cultural exchanges between China and the foreign countries,revealing that it has been both the growing consciousness of the cultural differences and the intention of the progress that the national identity with an architecture would be defined and recognized,which could help find an approach to read the architecture of the China Pavilion in 2010.
