摘要
认为有必要从英文"science"的定义入手来考察景观设计学的学科定位,指出把景观设计当作追求客观知识体系的科学、当作与文科相对的理科、当作工程技术,都是对这个学科的错误理解,并得出景观设计不是科学的结论。
The author thinks that it is necessary to make a study on it by analyzing the definition of ＂science＂.it is a misunderstanding to regard landscape design as a science to seek for objective knowledge;as a discipline opposed to liberal arts;or as engineering.
