Energy saving, emission mitigation and low-carbon technologies are the inevitable choices to meet the severe challenges facing the environment To achieve sustainable development, Germany government attaches great importance to recycling economy development and institutional establishment. It also promote policies including pollutants abatement and GHGs emission reduction though technical innovation, effective market mechanism implementation, extensive public participation and sustainable consumption patterns development. In addition, Germany motivate actions in energy mix diversification, renewable energy development and utilization and low carbon energy improvement et al. In sum, Germany has made marked progess on emission reduction and low-carbon development. Therefore, effective and useful experiences and insights can be gathered from Germany＇s low carbon development.
