摘要
核因子κB(NF-κB)是一个可诱导转录因子,紧密地调节着大群基因的表达。作为细胞机器的一个重要成分,NF-κB在不同的细胞进程中起着重要作用,而这些细胞进程与炎症、先天性及获得性免疫、细胞应激反应、细胞黏附、细胞增殖及细胞凋亡等有关。NF-κB的激活在细胞质及细胞核内被紧密地调控着,其异常激活与感染、炎症性肠病、风湿性关节炎及肿瘤等疾病有关。
Nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-κB) is an inducible transcription factor that tightly regulates the expression of a large cohort of genes.As a key component of cellular machinery,NF-κB plays a critical role in diverse cellular processes associated with inflammation,innate and adaptive immunity,cellular stress responses,cell adhesion,proliferation,and apoptosis.The activation of NF-κB is tightly controlled both in the cytoplasm and in the nucleus.Aberrant NF-κB activity has been implicated in the pathogenesis of several diseases,including infections,inflammatory bowel disease,rheumatoid arthritis,and cancer.Here we summarize the recent research advances in NF-κB.
