摘要
隐喻辞格在英语学习中很常见,而其中的"言外之意"也是重点所在。在传统修辞理解方法不能奏效的情况下,可以使用塞尔的间接言语行为理论加以解释。塞尔对间接言语行为的解释很大程度上解决了语句的字面意义和说话人的话语意义(言外之力)的关系问题,揭示隐喻事实上是用字面之意来表达言外之意。此外,塞尔对隐喻进行元素分析,并提出8大解析原则。
There are a lot of metaphor in English learning frequently. When explanation by means of traditional ways doesn’t work, interpretation of metaphor from the perspective of Searle’s Indirect Speech Act Theory may help. Searle’s interpretation of Indirect Speech Act Theory reveals the relationship between literal meaning and utterance meaning. On the basis of interpretation of Indirect Speech Act Theory, we can express the utterance meaning with literal meaning in fact. Searle proposed element analysis and principle analysis as well.
