Basic theories of modern control technology are introduced in this paper. Then, intelligent control technologies, such as fuzzy control, neural network control and knowledge-based expert control, are discussed in detail. That the information technology, virtual reality and integrated control would be the twenty-first century's developing trends of modern control technology is pointed out in the end of this paper.
