The process flow and equipment characteristics for bearing steel production in Sweden, Germany, France, Italy, Japan and Russia are presented in this paper, with the emphasis on the control of oxygen content and inclusion in steel during secondary refining and casting. And the development trend of refining and casting for bearing steel is discussed.
