摘要
针对风力作用下的大规模森林动态场景,提出了一种基于动态纹理技术和硬件加速技术的快速仿真方法.该方法根据风力矢量和视向量,将树木受力应变分解为横向应变和纵向应变2部分;对于横向应变,使用图像变形技术实现高真实感应变仿真;对于纵向应变,通过Billboard云分段受力变形,实现快速应变仿真;使用动态纹理技术,将动态的横向变形结果实时更新至Billboard纹理,从而实现横纵向同时应变;使用GPGPU技术加速仿真计算.实验证明:本方法可以有效仿真1×104株规模的森林动态场景,帧速率可达到30fps.
To simulate the large scale forest scene in the wind,a fast method based on dynamic texture and hardware accelerating was proposed.The deformation of trees was separated to parallel and vertical parts according to the view plane.The parallel part was simulated with tree image deformation to offer more realistic scene.The vertical part was implemented by warping the Billboards′ shape.The tree image deformation results were updated to Billboards′ texture using dynamic-texture technology.General purpose computation on graphic processing unit(GPGPU) technology was adopted to accelerate image deformation and warping Billboards.The method is proved feasible to simulate the large scale dynamic forest scene,which can reach more than 30 frames per second(fps) for the scene containing ten of thousands of trees.
