摘要
恶性肿瘤是导致人类死亡的主要原因之一,但并非所有恶性肿瘤细胞均有致瘤性。肿瘤干细胞指具有自我更新和无限增殖潜力的少量细胞群体,与干细胞的特性类似。核干细胞因子(NS)基因在干细胞处于早期多潜能状态时高表达,细胞开始分化后,其表达几乎完全消失。此外,多种癌细胞中NS基因亦高表达,而在分化的成体组织中不表达。NS基因表达与癌细胞的恶性程度有关。本文就NS与肿瘤干细胞作一综述。
Malignant tumor is one of the major causes of human death,however,not all cancer cells have tumorigenic characteristics.Tumor stem cells are of a small cell population having the function of self-renewal and potential of unlimited proliferation,this characteristic is similar with stem cells.Nucleostemin gene expression is very high when the stem cells are in the early pplypotential stage.However,the gene expression almost disappears when cells start to differentiate.High expression of nucleostemin gene is seen in a variety of cancer cells,while no gene expression in differentiated tissues.Nucleostemin gene expression is correlated with the malignancy of cancer cells.This article reviewed nucleostemin and tumor stem cells.
