摘要
第三代通信技术3G提升了声音和数据的传播速率及质量,可提供语音数据综合服务及移动多媒体服务,实现全球漫游。当前,国际上认证的3G主流技术有WCDMA、CDMA2000以及TD-SCDMA三种形式。文章介绍了3G的基本特点,当前流行的三种技术标准及应用发展现状。
The third-generation communications technology （3G） promotes the quality and the transmission rate of data and voice, and it can provide integrated voice and data services and mobile multimedia services, which realizes global roaming. Currently, the 3G mainstream technologies of international authentication include WCDMA, CDMA2000 and TD-SCDMA. In this paper, the basic features of 3G, and development status of application as well as popular three technical standards were introduced.
