摘要
本文所述的隋代菩萨造像,分布于华北各地,衣饰繁复华丽,通体遍饰璎珞以及其他垂饰;其中也存在地区差异,如原北齐与北周领地的璎珞就有区别。隋朝前期出现新形式的菩萨造像,虽不能称为统一样式,但已存在统一迹象。本文以原北齐、北周领地为考察范围,概观各地区隋代前期菩萨造像,阐述各个地区的特征,由此分析华北地区东西造像的差异及其相互影响关系,进而论述通体遍饰璎珞菩萨造像出现的时代背景。
This paper addresses the standing bodhisattvas of the Sui Dynasty, which are found everywhere in northern China, clad in beautiful costumes with various accessories. Nevertheless, regional differences also can be seen among them. For example, the jade-like stone accessories of the Northern Qi are different from those of the Northern Zhou. The Bodhisattva images newly appeared in Early Sui Dynasty exhibited a uniform trend though they could not be regarded as a uniform style. Focusing on the regions of the Northern Qi and Northern Zhou, this paper expounds the regional characteristics of the standing bodhisattvas of early Sui dynasty, and relationship between the images in east and west regions of northern China, and then background for the creation of Bodhisattvas with accessories all over the body.
