摘要
《尾生之信》是日本近代著名作家芥川龙之介根据中国古代流传的"尾生故事"改编而成的一篇短篇小说。原典故宣扬的是道德教化,强调对有约定的对方要坚守信约。芥川龙之介对原典进行了大胆的处理,改变了故事的象征意蕴,把尾生的坚守等待描绘成一种心理欲求,一种对永不可能实现的爱情的执著。通过对《尾生之信》进行出典分析以及文本解读,可以透视出作者的创作技巧及小说中蕴含的深层寓意。
Bisei no shin is a short novel adapted by the famous modern Japanese writer Akutagawa Ryunosuke from the ancient Chinese Story of Bisei which advocates morality and promises fulfillment. In his adaptation, the author changes the symbolic connotation of the original story and describes Bisei＇s insistence in promising fulfillment as psychological aspiration, a kind of persistence in the pursuit of love that might never be achieved. A comparative study on the original story and the adapted short novel would reveal both the profound message of the story and the writing skills of the author.
