Developmental dyslexia is one of the main types of learning disabilities. Research on the influence of first language reading disabilities on second language learning is relatively less . This paper mainly examines the effect of Chinese phonological awareness of defects on English acquisition from the perspective of language phonology, and elaborates the cross-linguistic consistency in phonological dyslexia as well as how different phonological awareness component defects in different orthographic law influence the second language learning.
