摘要
伴随着经济全球化的发展,中国制造企业全球化经营的进程也在加快。在这个过程中,国际规则对中国制造企业环境保护的要求也在加强。本文的研究目的是分析全球化经营对中国制造企业环境绩效的影响。依托2009年第五次国际制造业战略调查(IMSSⅤ)项目的背景,通过对202份中国大陆制造企业的样本调查,利用结构方程模型的方法,对中国制造企业全球化经营与环境战略、环境实践及环境绩效之间的关系进行了实证研究。研究发现:中国制造企业的经营全球化水平越高,在制定战略时对环境保护就会越重视,也会相应地投入更多的环境实践,并进而使其环境绩效得到提高。因此,对于国际化进程越来越快的中国制造企业而言,不仅要将环境保护作为重要的竞争战略要素,也要在制造的全过程中积极采取措施保护环境,才能取得良好的环境绩效,以适应全球化发展的需要,并由此获得更广阔的国际发展空间。
With the development of economic globalization, Chinese manufacturing companies conduct more and more international business. During this stage, these Chinese companies need to meet the international environmental protection regulations. This paper aims to analyze the effect of business globalization on the environmental performance of Chinese manufacturing companies. Based on the survey of 2009 IMSS V and its 202 Chinese mainland samples, the paper employs SME to conduct an empirical study on the relationships between business globalizatiou and environmental strategy, environmental practices and environmental performance. We find that the companies put more emphasis on environmental protection if they have more international business, and thus they do more environmental practice and gain more environmental performance. Therefore, the Chinese companies are supposed to take environmental protection as one of the most important competitive strategies and take some protecting activities during the globalization in order to gain better environmental performance and meet the requirement of globalization.
