摘要
产品数据管理 (ProductDataManagement,PDM)是当前国际上的热门技术 ,全面实施应用PDM技术已成为当前企业获取竞争优势的最佳途径。分析了PDM技术的基本功能、主要特点和作用、应用环境以及与其它应用技术 (CAD、MRP、CIMS和CE等 )的关系 ,提出了企业成功实施应用PDM技术应采取的主要对策。
Product Data Management (PDM) is a popular technology in today's world. Entire implementation of PDM technology in modern enterprises is becoming the best way to gain competitive advantages. We summarize the management thought on which PDM technology is based. Moreover, basic function, major attributes and actions, application environment of PDM, as well as the relationships with other application technologies such as CAD, MRP, CIMS and CE etc. are all analyzed systematically. In the end of this paper,we put forward and analyze the countermeasures in detail that enterprises should adopt for successfully implementing PDM technology.
