摘要
西方科学自传入中国以来一直受到传统观念的潜在制约,表现为"经世致用"对科学精神的过滤、"格物致知"助推"唯科学主义"的产生、"直观体验"导致"伪科学"的浮现和"科举制"对科学教育应试化的影响。理解和反思传统观念对中国现代科学文化的潜在影响,是保证现代科学文化健康发展的重要前提。
Modern science has been potentially restricted by traditional ideas since it was introduced into China.The overemphasis on practicality somewhat distorted the spirit of science,Ge Wu Zhi Zhi(exploring things to acquire knowledge) promoted the emergence of scientism,and Zhi Guan Ti Yan(the idea of knowing something by intuition) resulted in pseudoscience and the encouragement of the examination-oriented education of science by imperial examination system.Understanding and reflecting on the potential impact of traditional ideas on modern Chinese scientific culture is an important prerequisite to ensure the healthy growth of modern scientific culture.
