摘要
随着全球化进程的不断深入,外交活动、政治关系以及各种制度体系被赋予了新的内容和使命。其对经济活动的影响也不断深入和扩展。深入分析和正确认识新形势下国际政治关系、制度体系以及经济活动之间的关系既是现实的要求也是理论发展的需要。作者聚焦中国的对外直接投资,运用国际关系理论、制度理论和国际商务理论,研究双边政治关系对中国对外直接投资的直接和间接的影响。首先以相关学科的理论与实证研究为基础提出假设,然后运用2003-2010年间中国对131个国家的投资数据和面板校正误差模型对假设进行实证检验。结果显示:第一,双边政治制度的建立能够有效地维护对外直接投资。第二,双边友好的外交活动能够有效地促进对外直接投资的发展。第三,双边外交活动对一些比较敏感和重要的投资能起到保驾护航的作用。第四,双边外交活动能够克服东道国制度不完善对投资所带来的不利影响。该实证结果对今后拓展理论以及指导实践都有一定的意义。
With the development of globalization,the role of diplomacy,political relationship and institutional system has refreshed and their impact on economic activities also changed. Based on relevant theories and empirical studies of politics,institutions and economics,the authors propose hypotheses and test them with panel data models and the data of Chinese outward FDI to 131 countries from 2003 to 2010. The main findings are: ( 1) the establishment of political institutions between countries benefits the outward FDI; ( 2) the friendly bilateral diplomatic activities facilitate the outward FDI in general; ( 3) the bilateral diplomatic activities effectively support some sensitive and important investments; ( 4 ) the bilateral diplomatic activities play an important role in the host countries,in which institutions are absent or poor in quality.
