摘要
CBF是一类植物所特有的转录因子,是植物抗寒途径的枢纽,调控下游大量抗寒基因的表达,对增强植物的抗寒能力非常重要。ICE属于一种类似MYC的bHLH转录因子,可特异结合到CBF启动子的MYC作用元件并诱导CBF下游基因的转录表达。综述了CBF和ICE两类转录因子的发现、应用及两者之间的关系,为作物抗寒分子改良提供参考。
CBF is a very important family plant transcription factors which play pivotal role in the signal transduction of cold tolerance. The CBF transcription activators are critical to enhance plant cold resistance by regulate the expression of down-stream cold regulated genes. ICE belongs to the bHLH transcription factors family that has the similar function of MYC. ICE specifically bind to the MYC cis-acting element of CBF promoter and then induce the expression of CBF down-stream genes. This paper reviewed the discovery, applications and the interaction of the transcription factors CBF and ICE. It would provide a valuable strategy for improvement of plant cold tolerance and breeding of cold-tolerant plant.
