浮选法分离铝电解废旧阴极中的碳和电解质 被引量:10

Separating carbon and electrolyte in spent pot linings by floatation

摘要 通过元素分析和显微结构分析检测了使用寿命不同的三种废旧阴极SPL1(1016天)、SPL2(1560天)和SPL3(1936天),结果表明废旧阴极使用寿命越长,碳含量越低,电解质在碳基体中的渗透情况越复杂,嵌布粒度越细。浮选实验采用煤油为捕收剂,碳进入泡沫相,而电解质留在矿浆中。浮选过程中,磨矿粒度为-200目占90%。实验结果表明,废旧阴极使用寿命越长,分选效果越差,建议对废旧阴极按照使用寿命进行分类堆存,并优化浮选条件和药剂制度,从而改善低碳含量废旧阴极的分选效果。 The carbon contents and micmstmcture of three spent pot linings (SPL) samples with different service time,which were specifically 1016 days ( SPL1 ) , 1560 days ( SPL2 ) and 1936 days ( SPL3 ) ,were separately detected by elemental analysis and observed under polarizing microscope. The results showed that the carbon contents were lower and conditions of electrolyte contaminating carbon substrate were more complicate when the service time was longer and disseminated grain size became smaller as a result. In the flotation experiment, the kerosene was used as collector. The carbon was carried by mineral laden bubble, while electrolyte still stayed in the pulp. Additional, particle size of - 200 meshes in the samples in the flotation experiments was 90%. The interesting results of these experiments showed that the separation of carbon and electrolyte by flotation became more difficult when the service time of SPL increased. Therefore, the promoting method was suggested : SPL with high carbon contents could be effectively recycled by traditional flotation process and low carbon contents SPL could be only economically recovered by promoted flotation process, and it was necessary that SPL should be classi- fied and piled up by service time as a result.
