摘要
新中国成立后少数民族文字的创制和改革,是中共为了改变一些少数民族的文字落后状态,促进少数民族地区政治、经济、文化等方面建设而开展的一项重要工作。这一工作,既充分尊重少数民族各界人士和广大人民群众的意愿,又严格遵循文字工作的科学规律,从而取得了显著成绩,为促进少数民族地区的发展作出了重要贡献。
The Language Creation and Reform of minorities was an important work carried out by the CPC in order to change the underdeveloped situation of minorities＇ language and promote the constructions of politics, economy, culture and other aspects in ethnic minority areas after the founding of PRC. This work not only fully respected the wishes of personalities of various circles of minorities and the masses, but also strictly followed the scientific laws of language work, and thus made remarkable achievements and made important contributions to promote the devel- opment of ethnic minority areas.
