摘要
提高农民环境意识的重要性在于它是实现我国环境保护目标的社会心理基础，没有农民环境意识的普遍提高和广泛参与，生态环境问题的解决就是一句空话。但目前我国农民的环境知识缺乏、环境意识薄弱，保护环境的技能也亟待提高。本文认为要提高农民的环境意识必须挖掘我国传统文化中丰富的生态思想，建立健全农村环境教育体系，同时要加强生态环境的法治建设，稳定耕地和林地的承包体制，才能有效地培养农民保护生态环境的行为，实现农村可持续发展。
It is important to strengthen peasants' environmental consciousness because it is the foundation of improving the wide polluted ecological environment in rural areas. It is also the foundation of sustainable development of society and economy of the whole country. So far, in our country the peasants are lack of environmental knowledge, little aware of environmental consciousness and in badly need of the skills to protect the environment. The strategies of improving peasants' environmental consciousness are discussed in this article. Some of the measures are: (1) to dig up various Chinese traditional ecology thoughts; (2) to establish a perfect education system of rural environment; (3) to potentiate legal systems of ecology environment; (4) to stablize contract systems of plowland and woodland; and (5) to train peasants' skills for ecological environmental conservation.
